When a patient is seen in the practice, an entry is made on their Treatment Card. The entry type can vary depending on what type of appointment it is. The treatment card entry types are hard coded and cannot be changed but you can view the types in Cloud 9 by by clicking Edit > Setup >Treatment Card Entry Types.
Within this section all of the types are listed of Visit, Virtual Consult, Emergency, Comment, or Case Review. While you cannot change the names or codes of the treatment card entry types, (they are the same for all clients), you can change the color in which the entry appears on the treatment card.
This is what the view will look like in Edit > Setup > Treatment Card Entry Types.
If I were to enter an Emergency Treatment Card Comment on a patient, this is how the color displays. I have entered an Emergency Treatment Card Entry type, which has the pink color selected. (Screenshot Below.)
As you can see in the screenshot above, when you choose a color for a treatment card entry type, it changes the background of the line showing that entry to the color chosen. The text still says the same, only the color behind the text changes. It is something to keep in mind when you assign colors if you wish to change the defaults for the Edit > Setup > Treatment Card Entry type. Please remember that while you can change the color it appears on the treatment card, the codes or name of treatment card entry types cannot be changed and are grayed out to prevent anyone from making a change.
