Summary
This article covers how to find employee login and logout history using the License History view in License Management. It walks through setting up the required employee permission and how to read the history log.
Overview
If your office does not use the Cloud 9 Time Clock, the License History view in License Management is a useful way to see when employees logged in and out of Cloud 9. This article covers how to grant the necessary permission and how to use the License History view to find that information.

Setting Up the View License Management Permission
To access License Management, an employee must have the View License Management permission enabled. Only someone with permission to edit Employee Permissions can make this change.
- Navigate to Edit > Setup > Employees.
- Select the employee and click Edit.
- Search the Permissions list for View License Management and check the box to enable it.
- Click the green Save button.
Once the permission is enabled, that employee can navigate to View > License Management to access the window.
Using the License History View
Once in the License Management window, use the View dropdown in the upper right to select License History. This view allows you to search by date range and see a log of when employees logged in and out of Cloud 9.
Use the Start Date and End Date fields at the top to filter the results to the date range you want to review. Click the Refresh icon in the upper left at any time to reload the results.
Note: The License History view shows times in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), not your local time. This is different from the Login History report in Cloud 9, which shows your local time. To convert UTC to your local time, find your time zone’s offset from UTC and add or subtract that number of hours. Remember to account for Daylight Saving Time if applicable.
