Summary
To print an envelope along with your letter from the Letter Queue, an envelope must be created for each letter template. This article reviews the steps to create a bookmark so an envelope can be generated. It also reviews the steps to create an envelope for a selected letter in the letter queue.
Adding a Bookmark to an Existing Letter in the Document Editor
Step 1 - Navigate to the Document Editor by clicking on Home > Document Editor.
Step 2 - Click the 'Open' icon to view the list of existing letters.
Step 3 - Once you reach the list of letters, select the desired letter and click 'Open.'
Step 4 - Use the mouse cursor to highlight the address merge fields. (Shown below within the red box.)
Step 5 - Click 'Insert' on the toolbar.
Step 6 - Click on 'Bookmark' which will open a dialogue box to enter a Bookmark. In the Bookmark Name text box, type the following: EnvelopeAddress (with no punctuation). Then, select 'Add' and click 'Close.' Once these steps are completed, the envelope bookmark has been added to the letter template.
Step 7 - In the letter template you just added the Bookmark to, click the 'File' tab and then 'Save.'
Printing the envelope from the Letter Queue
Step 1 - Generate the letter and choose the option to add to the Letter Queue. For more information on how to use the letter queue, please see: This Article.
Step 2 - Navigate to Home > Letter Queue in Cloud 9.
Step 3- Select your letter with the check box, then click the 'Merge' icon. The 'Merge' icon is located between the 'Refresh' and 'Set Status' icons in the upper left menu directly above the Letter Queue.
Step 4 - In the document list to the left of your merged letter, there is a column labeled ENV for envelope. This column should have an asterisk after adding the bookmark to the letter template in the previous steps. The asterisk in the ENV column indicates there is an envelope that can be generated for this letter. (ENV column shown in screenshot below.)
Step 5 - To print the envelope for a chosen letter check the tick box to select your letter. Next, click the 'Print Envelope' icon on the tool bar. This icon is an envelope and is located between the 'Print' and 'Email' icons.
