Overview
Whether you have new staff coming on board or your team just needs a refresher, there are several resources available to help your practice get the most out of Cloud 9. Here is a breakdown of what is available and how to access each one.
Start With the Cloud 9 Help Center
The Cloud 9 Help Center is the most up to date resource available for Cloud 9 and the one we recommend starting with. It is constantly being expanded with new and updated content and has two valuable types of resources in one place:
- Training Videos: A library of videos covering a range of topics and features to help your team learn by watching.
- Knowledge Base Articles: In depth articles covering setup, workflows, troubleshooting, and more across all areas of Cloud 9.
Navigate to https://cloud9support.planetdds.com/hc/en-us to access the Help Center. Or, in Cloud 9, navigate to Help Icon (question mark with a circle around it) > Documentation > Chat. Training videos can be found in the help center or HERE.
The Help Center is the best place to start for any question about Cloud 9 and is always the most current resource we have.
In-App Documentation
Cloud 9 also has some helpful documentation built right into the software. Click the Help icon (the question mark inside a circle) in the upper right of Cloud 9 and select Documentation. From there you can access HTML5 Reference Guide, which is a broad overview of many features in Cloud 9.
Keep in mind that the in-app documentation and reference guide may not always reflect the most recent updates to the software. For the most current information, the Help Center linked above is always the better resource.
Cloud 9 Academy
Cloud 9 Academy is our self-paced learning platform with training courses designed to help your team learn and get comfortable with different areas of the software. It is a great starting point for new employees and a solid refresher for anyone who wants to sharpen their skills.
To get started, navigate to https://cloud9academy.learnupon.com/ and log in or register. From there you can browse the course catalogue to see all available modules.

Live Learning Sessions
For something a little more interactive, our Training team offers Live Learning Sessions that your practice can attend. These are a great option when your team wants to ask questions in real time or work through specific workflows together.
Navigate to this site: Planet DDS | Live Learning Session Schedule and scroll down to the Cloud 9 Section to see times available for our Open Q&A, or practice sessions for C9 Connect or Planet DDS Pay.
Personalized Training
If none of the above options are quite what your practice needs, our Training team is also available for more in-depth, personalized training sessions. This is a great option for offices that want targeted help with a specific area of the software or need a more hands-on approach.
