From time to time, you may need to refund a credit card transaction that was processed through PlanetDDS Pay. The guide below will walk you through the steps of refunding a transaction.
Please note - Planet DDS does not make adjustments on behalf of offices. Our team is happy to guide users through the adjustment process step by step, but all adjustments must be completed by the office directly.
Process description:
You will need to go to the patient's ledger, select the card transaction and choose the option to refund.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Select the patient and go to their ledger.
- Select the credit card transaction you'd like to refund and chose the option to Void/Return.
- Validate the posting location and provide a reason for the refund/void/return.
