Summary
The highlight feature in Document Editor can be utilized when creating a new template or editing an existing one. It is also accessible from the Letter Queue during letter editing, as well as from within a patient's account while using the Merge and Print Now function.
Please find below the instructions for utilizing the highlight feature.
When editing a "Template" in the Document Editor, please note that any changes made will be saved globally. As a result, the template will appear in this updated format for all patients when utilized.
Steps to use Highlight feature in Document Editor
Step 1: Select 'Home' on the Cloud 9 menu bar then click Document Editor.
Step 2: To edit an existing template, click the Open icon to access the list of available templates.
Step 3: Next, find the template you wish to edit, select it by clicking on it, and then click "Open." A window will appear showing your office's available templates. (The list shown in this example is from the Cloud 9 test templates.) You can use the search bar in the upper right or scroll through the list to find the desired document.
Step 4: You can also locate your template by entering either the full name or a segment of the template name in the search box. To select the desired template, please click on the corresponding letter, and then click 'Open' to access it.
Step 5: Once the letter template is open, select the 'Home' option from the template menu bar.
Step 6: Click on the 'Home' tab located on the menu bar of the document. Select the area where you would like to apply a highlight color, and then click on the dropdown menu indicated in the image below.
Step 7: To select a color from the color bar, simply slide the indicator to your desired color. Next, adjust the circle in the upper right corner to the appropriate shade for highlighting. Finally, click the last box on the far right and select "OK".
The selected text is now highlighted.
To remove the highlighted area, highlight the area to be removed, use the drop down, on the color box move the circle to the upper far left corner where it shows white, then click in the last box on the lower right. Click ok.
The highlight has now been removed.
After making any changes, remember to return to the File tab to save your work.
