Summary
The Daily Collections report presents patients scheduled for a specified date who are currently due on the patient ledger and/or the insurance ledger. The report includes options to filter for patient due amounts, insurance due amounts, or both.
The displayed results provide a snapshot overview of scheduled patients who have a Responsible Party and/or Insurance due at this time.
The Daily Collections report provides the patient's name, and if applicable, the insurance company name. It also includes the appointment time, date of the most recent payment, payment amount, outstanding aging, current amount due, and the total amount outstanding.
This report is not directly comparable to any other report.
Steps to access the Daily Collections report
Step 1 - Navigate to the Reports button, then select 'Reports' from the menu options.
Step 2 - Enter the name of the report in the search box; Daily Collections, or you can click Financial and scroll to find the report.

Step 3 – Input the appropriate parameters: Collections Date (appointment date), Schedule View (you may select multiple views if desired), and Type. You can choose either Responsible Party, Insurance, or both. Then click Preview to display results.

Blakely Mendes will only display the patient due now, as there is no current insurance payment due for her or she does not have insurance.
Nicholas Bennett's account currently displays only the insurance amount due, as there are no patient payments due at this time.
Note: The Daily Collections report should be considered a general overview, providing a snapshot of scheduled appointments with due now balances on Responsible Party or Insurance. It should not be used to determine precise financial figures.
