Why is there a balance in the All tab of a patient ledger and how do I remove it?
Sometimes you will find a ledger on a report that shows as having a balance in the All tab on the ledger, however when you go to the patient's insurance or financially responsible tab on the ledger, no balance is reflected. When you find a ledger like this where there is only a balance when looking at the "All" tab, it needs to be corrected. However, this cannot be revised on the office level - you will need to contact Cloud 9 Support to have the issue corrected.
The first screenshot below shows the balance showing on the all tab of $2,000.00. No other tab in the ledger reflects the balance.
The second screenshot shows the Responsible Party (RP) tab selected, with a zero balance.
