RPT: Patient Statistical Profile
Accessing the Report
To access this report, in the top header bar, go to Reports and select reports from the dropdown menu. In the search bar, top center of the screen, enter the name Patient Statistical Report. When the name appears on the list, select it. If this will be a report that you need to access frequently, select the star icon on the far right to mark it as one of your favorites. From that point forward, it will appear, within the reports section, as one of your favorites, making it even easier to locate.
Report Filters
Along the right side of the page are the filters which you can select to provide you the information you are looking for. There are 3 things that can be filtered for in this report. They are Activity, Location, and Provider (shown below).
Activity
Within this section, you can filter by Active Patients, Inactive Patients, or All Patients.
Location
All Locations within your url should show on this list. You can filter for one, some, or all.
Providers
ALL providers assigned to your url will show in this list. Once again, you can filter by one, some, or all providers.
Once you have made the selection of all of your filters, select the Preview button at the bottom.
Patient Statistical Report Review
Based entirely on the filters that you have previously selected, this report will show information. For this Article, I selected Active Patients, in the Roswell location, with Kevin Simmons as the provider.
Location(s)
For this article, I only selected the Roswell location. But if more were selected, they would also appear in this section.
Provider(s)
For this article, I only selected one provider, but again, if more had been selected, they would all show in this field.
Patient Status Code
In the Code column are the active patient status codes. These are shown under Edit > Setup > Patient Statuses, in the Code column.
Patient Status Name
In the Name column are the active patient status names. These are shown under Edit > Setup > Patient Statuses, in the Description column.
Count
The count column consists of the number of patients in the identified status that fall within the filters you identified.
Percent of Total (Pct of Tot)
The percentage of the number of patients identified in this patient status on this report relative to the number of total patients within your practice. As an example, the 7 patients in the Adult Comprehensive Patient Status comprise 2% of the total active patients in this practice.
Adults
This column contains the total number of Adults in the specific Patient Status row, while being totaled at the bottom for all adults within the filtered criteria.
Children
This column contains the total number of children in the specific Patient Status row, while being totaled at the bottom for all children within the filtered criteria.
Percent Adult (Pct Adult)
In the Pct Adult column, percentages are provided based off of the Total number of Adults contained in the filters identified (36) divided by the total number of patients in the filtered results (69) to get the percentage of Adult patients, which is 52%.
Location
I have altered the filters we have used so far for these last columns to make more sense. When you only filter by one location, that location is shown, and the numbers will total up to the same as the Count column. But when you filter by multiple locations, each one will return with its own totals, as seen in the screenshot below. Also note that in the location field, all three filtered locations will show, as well as each of them having their own column of information returned.
