Summary
This article provides instructions to set up the EMV device for FIS card readers only.
One of the two card readers below will be necessary.

Basic Operations
Power On
- Press the green O button to power on the device. (Connecting the included power cable will also power on the device automatically)
Power Off
- Hold the yellow < +
.,#*buttons while the device is not connected to the power cable. (Otherwise, the device will reboot instead)
Restart
- Make sure to have the device plugged into power; Holding yellow < +
.,#*buttons simultaneously until display ‘Restarting’ or 'Reset in progress' in the screen.
Initial Configuration
Follow the few short steps below to set up your new card terminal.
1. Connect the included power cable by removing the flap on the right side of the Link/2500
2. On the pin-pad press 2634. A menu will display showing your WiFi status & battery status. The WiFi indicator will be white, indicating the Link/2500 pin-pad is not connected to WiFi. Press the F key above the red X button.
3. Select Tetra Admin
4. Select 3-Configure Wi-Fi
5. Select 2-Scan Networks
6. Click on your wireless network and enter the password (use the numbers on the keypad to input the WiFi password, use the .,#* key to input symbols, use the yellow < key to backspace/delete)
7. The device will confirm to connect, click the green O button on the pin-pad to confirm (the WiFi status will remain white if you have entered the wrong password. If the status remains white after 30 seconds you will need to press 3-My Networks then Delete All and try connecting again with the correct password)
8. Press the red X 4-5 times to return to the home screen.
9. Reboot the device to trigger the Activation Code

Basic Operations
Power On
- Locate the Multipoint Port: Turn the terminal over to find the Multipoint Port on the underside of the device.
- Connect the power adapter: Plug the provided power adapter into the Multipoint Interface Cable and then into a power outlet.
Power Off
- Disconnect it to power supply.
Restart

Make sure to have the device plugged into power; Holding yellow < +
.,#*buttons simultaneously until display ‘Restarting’ or 'Reset in progress' in the screen.
Initial Configuration

1. Connect to internet; Plug in the Ethernet cable: Extend the other end of the Multipoint Interface
cable and connect it to an available Ethernet port with open internet access.
2. Reboot the device to trigger the Activation Code.
Cloud 9 Set Up
1. Payment Processor FIS
a. Make to have EnableFISPayments = True in app preferences on Edit, App Preference.
b. Create valid Payment Account on Edit, Setup, Payment Processor - FIS.

2. EMV Device
a. Restart device to get Activation Code on the device.
b. Go to Edit>Setup> EMV Device - FIS.
- Add a EMV Device:

- Select a specific Account
- Populate correct Paring Code = Activation Code
- Terminal = 3
- Enable Contactless; this option will enable NFC functionality using EMV Device.
3. Link Payment Method to specific Location/Practice Information.
We have the following places to configure Payment Processor; if Locations do not have a Processor configured, it will take the Practice Information Processor configured.
Edit> Setup> Location> Payment Processor tab.
