When you are using the treatment card and want to enter a specific transaction as a Procedure code to populate in the Proc column of the Treatment Card Entry, you first need to check a couple things. First, check that the transaction type is correct and has the correct amount, if your office uses amounts.
You will navigate into Edit > Setup > Transaction Type. Next, pick the transaction type that you want to show. In the screenshot below you will see that it has an amount, and you need to check the box labeled, "Show in Treatment Card". Screenshot below.
Then you can click save and refresh your Cloud 9. Now, when you go to the treatment card, this procedure will be an option to add for the treatment card entry.
Now, you can finish your treatment card entry for this patient, and then check them out.
When you check them out, the charges will already be on there. You can pick the applicable Responsible Party or Insurance Ledger, and then click "Post Charges."
That will next take you to the screen where you can add a note and post the charges for the patient.
You can also add Procedures via Transaction Types to the Treatment Card that have a zero charge, that way you can add less notes because you will already have it noted on the treatment code what procedure was performed. Cloud 9 is highly customizable and can be customized with the transaction types and procedures and treatment card layout to match your practice's needs.
To run reports to see the Procedures in a specific date range, please see this article: Procedure Summary Reports.
