Cloud9 allows you to create financial campaigns to follow up with accounts that have an aging balance. These campaigns automatically send notifications to patients about outstanding balances, upcoming payments, and insurance updates based on preset triggers like due dates or transaction activity. These campaigns save time for staff, improve patient engagement, and help ensure timely payments. These campaigns can be setup and customized for each office's individual needs using the following guide.

In order to utilize financial campaigns, offices will need to be signed up for Cloud9 Connect.
How to setup a Financial Campaign:
- The main hub for patient messaging via Cloud9 Connect can be found by going to Edit > Automation Suite> Recurring Campaign > Template Tab. Anyone using Cloud9 Connect should see three options: Appointment Campaigns, Contract Payments, and Reoccurring Campaigns.
- From the Recurring Campaigns screen, Cloud9 users will now be able to create text templates.

- Once the template has been created you'll navigate to the "Recipients" tab to ensure you have a recipient list set up. Please review: How to set up a Responsible Party recipient list for financial campaigns
- Next you'll go to the "Campaign" tab to create a new campaign. Please Review: How to setup a financial campaign for a Responsible Party with an aged balance
Best Practices:
Best Practices for sending out Aged Balance Campaigns:
- We recommend using the merge tags "Financial Responsible Due Now" as well as "Responsible Party Greeting"
- We recommend having messages reflect what is due now, a link to the payment portal, as well as any relevant practice contact information like name and phone number.

Additional information:
- Messages go out daily at 9am local time of the practice.
- At this time, text messages for Patient Care campaigns is not operable but will be available in an upcoming release.
- It is important to note that the ability to send new texts and emails or edit documents from the document editor will no longer be available. All email and text message templates will be edited from the Recurring Campaigns screen.
