Summary
Once you have set your Template, and chosen your Recipient List for your Financial Campaign, it is now time to put it all together. This article reviews how to finalize setting up Financial Campaigns, with a couple of examples, and how it all works.
Setting up the Email Financial Campaign
Step 1. Navigate to Edit > Automation Suite > Recurring Campaigns > Campaigns.
Step 2. Click on the orange 'Create Campaign' in the upper right hand corner.
Step 3. Pick the template for your Financial Campaign.
Step 4. Name the Campaign. For my video GIF below I chose 'Past Due 30 Day Email'.
Step 5. Set the Subject Line of the email. For this example I chose 'Friendly Reminder: Ortho Balance Past Due'.
Step 6. Pick the location to send the Campaign to. You can pick one location to have it just send to one, or pick Practice to have it send to all locations. I picked practice.
Step 7. Pick Recipient List. I chose 'All Active Patients' which means it will go by the oldest pending charge date from all active patients.
Step 8. Select Campaign Event. For Financial Campaigns it will ALWAYS be 'Responsible Party Balance Past Due'.
Step 9. When to send. This is where you specify when it should send the Financial Campaigns to those on your recipient list. For this example, I selected 31 days from the oldest pending charge. This means that tomorrow, for all patients on this recipient list, if they have a pending charge that is 31 days old, it will send the responsible party a financial campaign with the details I have selected, once it is saved.
Step 10. Click 'Save'. This will take you to the main Campaigns screen where you will see your Financial Campaign as saved. It looks the next day when you set it and at 9:00 AM local time it sends based on the number of days chosen from oldest pending charge due date. The recipient list number will update daily when the number of people eligible for the financial campaign changes.
We also have a new feature where anytime a Financial Campaign is sent to a responsible party, it writes a comment to the ledger. Please see this article for more details.
